3. #6 Noguchi http://erobertson.podomatic.co... download (audio/x-wav, 0.07Mb) Description: This is an audio file i called in with my cell phone. (Do you like my pajamas?) I set up a free account at k7.net I called on my phone and made this recording. It ended up on my media folder on podomatic. I clicked on the podcast button and now it is part of my blog---way cool! |

4. Noguchi #4 http://erobertson.podomatic.co... download (audio/mpeg, 0.17Mb) Description: This audio file was recorded as a comment to the intro page---just as a test of the commenting function of podomatic. The comment was recorded through the online recorder and then emailed to my podomatic account. When I opened the podomatic email, the file was there with an option of turning it into THIS podcast. Think about how you could use this feature with your students. You could initiate ideas that students could address and audio blog back fairly easily. |

5. nog#3 http://erobertson.podomatic.co... download (audio/mpeg, 1.19Mb) Description: This web log actually is a blog with photos and audio attached. The site automatically generates an RSS feed of the episodes of the podcast. By taking the RSS address and puttiing it into a "podcatcher" like iTunes, you can subscribe to these three short episodes. You can program your "podcatcher" software to automatically or manually download future episodes. You would not have to come back to this site to see if new episodes were mounted. Though you WOULD have to come back here to see the photos since THEY will not appear in your podcast. |

6. Nogouchi#2 http://erobertson.podomatic.co... download (audio/mpeg, 1.04Mb) Description: TEAM: When you post photos of the museum artwork, they must be a minimum of 300x300 pixels. You can set your resolution to its lowest setting for this exercise. |

7. Intro-start here! http://erobertson.podomatic.co... download (audio/mpeg, 1.24Mb) Description: TEAM: Using this site's inline editor, you will type in here a description of the art piece you would be describing for the blog portion of your site. As you go around the museum, you would also be recording what you are seeing for downloading as a podcast. Remember, you are describing what you are seeing for someone who will either be coming to the museum with their iPod downloaded with your "tour" or for someone who may never come to the museum. Describe where you are in the building, walking over to where your first exhibit is, naming the exhibit, and reading the placard for the exhibit. Speak slowly and clearly as your record. You might want to interject your own thoughts about the piece. "This is a sculpture at the Nogouchi Exhibit at the Heckscher Museum. yadayadayada..........." |
