Avengers: End Game was not just a film with a great storyline and excellent performances. It was an paralleled, unifying experience that we shared with a room full of fellow fans. We were as ONE for 3 hours and 2 minutes. We cried and cheered together...some of us even hugged it out afterwards. A movie that can move an audience in that manner, is indeed unique.

Avengers: End Game was an "end cap" for twenty-one films that fans invested time and emotion into. And what an ending it was!

In this transmission of Anomaly, we talk about everything from the passing of Peter Mayhew (the actor who played Chewbacca in Star Wars), how End Game treated Black Widow and Captain Marvel, loving Peter Parker...in a mom way, getting a little verklempt with everyone else in the theater, and much more.

Go to the show notes for links to the things things we discussed in this episode, like Angela's waterproof mascara, Peter Gunn's PG Porn, and the MCU Recap featured at The Alamo Drafthouse.

It's taken a while for SciFi to get a foot-hold as a serious genre. Yet even now some cinematic SciFi still gets panned and under appreciated. Angela and Jen want to challenge that idea. So they have each picked an underrated Sci fi movie that got an unfair shake. Check out their second look at Passengers (2016) and Æon Flux (2005). Æon Flux is available to watch on Netflix and Passengers will be broadcast on FX starting May 3, 2019.

28. Star Trek Discovery: Lethe (S1 E6) Review | Anomaly Mini-skirt Cast

Description:

Anomaly sometimes records what we call a "mini-skirt" 'cast. This is a podcast we publish outside of our regular schedule and is usually a little shorter than a full show. And you can expect several in the next few weeks discussing Start Trek Discovery!

We need to talk about the obvious. One of the hardest things about Star Trek Discovery as a devoted fan of Star Trek is balancing your desire for some new stories from your favorite world and the fact that SciFi as a genre has come a long way in 50 years so of course, they have to change it up. I guess it comes down to - What do you enjoy about Star Trek or any SciFi, and is Discovery presenting a good story?

31. Star Trek or Star Wars? What Does Your Preference Really Mean?
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 47.06Mb)

Description:

The ultimate woe, the epitome of nerd rage, the most taboo of all topics is the very one that Angela and Jen set forth to conquer in this episode: Star Wars or Star Trek. Join us as we bring back this golden oldie from the Anomaly vault all the way back in 2011 where Jen and Angela approached this age-old question, not from a ‘which franchise is better’ standpoint, but instead, they looked within and asked what the preference of one franchise over the other says about a person.

So...which do you prefer and why?

http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 59.86Mb)

Description:

In this episode, Jen and Angela return with a tribute to Carrie Fisher—a woman who was the ultimate Anomaly and someone they held a ton of respect for. They waited for a month to talk about her passing on Anomaly, because, quite frankly, the two of them couldn't record an episode without getting choked up. After they had time to digest what happened, reflect on why she meant so much to them, and re-watch her films and the Bright Lights documentary, they gave it another try. 61. Anomaly Supplemental | Babylon 5, Season 5, Part 2
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 37.54Mb)

Description:

Well it’s kind of crazy how long it’s taken me to record all five seasons of Babylon 5! I was just sitting here thinking about how much in my life has changed since I started actually. It’s been really cool getting to watch through this and getting to see people responding to it. It’s been cool experiencing something new and a sci-fi show I really had no idea about before I started.

I’ll be completely honest this show doesn’t really feel like it’s ‘mine’ in the same way I feel like other shows feel totally ‘me’, but I respect this show a LOT. I respect that the characters seemed like they were always changing and developing, that they wanted to explore interesting stories and situations and that they never seem to stagnate the way some shows really can. I am definitely glad I watched it and even more glad that there were so many of you taking the journey with me.

That's why we decided to cover The Terminator for Mother's Day. It seemed appropriate… SPOILER ALERT!

81. Anomaly Supplemental | The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 22.60Mb)

Description:

In this episode of Anomaly Supplemental, KC and Sue discuss Ursula K. Le Guin's groundbreaking 1969 novel The Left Hand of Darkness, winner of both the Hugo and Nebula Awards for Best Novel of the Year.

The Left Hand of Darkness is regularly cited in discussions of gender and sexuality in science-fiction, but also touches on concepts of interpersonal relationship, international politics, patriotism, fear, and more. It is "among the first books published in the feminist science fiction genre and the most famous example of androgyny in science fiction" (Wikipedia). And it is often on lists of the best science fiction books, and almost always on top ten lists of feminist sci-fi and/or books by women sci-fi authors. So we both felt that it was about time we read it...

In this episode of Anomaly Supplemental, KC and Sue are back after a long holiday season. The topic: The X-Files, which returns to TV tonight, January 24th, on Fox.

Due to the fact that KC had never seen The X-Files until just recently and has completed her blog review trilogy of Chris Carter's Ten Essential Episodes, the ladies focus on these episodes alone and how it affects life-long and newbie fans alike.

This episode is tagged explicit because KC likes swear words.

89. Anomaly | Star Trek Palooza / Worst of Trek: Sub Rosa
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 107.54Mb)

Description:

Get the Show Notes Here! Angela lost her voice, so I'm flying solo this week. This episode of Anomaly features eight of my favorite Rick Moyer Star Trek parodies. I play them as an opener to a Classic Anomaly episode: Worst of Trek: Sub Rosa. Our Sub Rosa review was recorded and released in 2010 and archived on our site when we had to switch podcast feeds. If you don't remember Sub Rosa, it's the one where Beverley becomes weirdly infatuated with her recently deceased Nana's lover. Eww. Gross. Now the series is complete…sort of. We plan on continuing the Worst of Trek, but we need some Trek episode suggestions from you. They have to be funny and Spock's Brain is an easy target. :) Our next episode (on January 10) is a mail bag episode.

111. Anomaly Supplemental | Into the Woods - Stage v. Screen
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 22.00Mb)

Description:

In this episode of Anomaly Supplemental, Angela joins KC and Sue to discuss Disney's Into the Woods feature film.  Well, not so much "discuss" as "critique."  Well, not so much "critique" as "complain about."

All three hosts have very long and deep history with the Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine musical, and the film version created...  feelings.  Not great ones, for the most part.  As usual, we start of attempting to point out the things we thought were good about the film, acknowledge that our on personal histories with the property make us pretty harsh judges, and then the gloves come off.

PLEASE NOTE:  This episode was recorded just one day before it's release - because schedules - so it has undergone minimal editing.  Also, this episode carries an "explicit" tag in iTunes for both language and content.  Yes, there's cursing, and we talk about sex.  So use your headphones and/or ask the kiddies to leave the room.

113. Anomaly Supplemental | Babylon 5, Season 4, Part 1

Description:

When I started watching Babylon 5 Season 4, I couldn’t believe how much time had passed since I’d seen the end of season 3! I also couldn’t believe I hadn’t gone insane wondering what happened to Sheridan and Garibaldi seeing as I was raving about how great the show was, but how cliff-hanger-esque.

But even though it’s been close to two years since I last watched this show I definitely felt right back at home starting it!

Because I wanted to do the show justice and because honestly it makes it easier on me recording this season will be reviewed in two parts, this being part one.

I got flustered and changed the show layout and did it kind of episode by episode because there was so much project material I didn’t know where to start and starting at the beginning seemed the least confusing way I could do it.

I am really excited about this season and cannot wait to watch the second half and get to recording it for you all!

Thanks so much for listening, and may all your favorite inside jokes stay inside so as not to get rained on and waterlogged and such.

115. Anomaly Supplemental | Guards! Guards! (Terry Pratchett's Discworld)
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 57.23Mb)

Description:

Over four years of podcasting together, and I finally got KC to read a Discworld book - in fact, it was kind of her idea!  After a quick catchup on life, we give a general introduction to the Discworld and then a short summary of Guards! Guards! (Discworld #8, Watch #1), before sounding our spoiler alert and diving a little deeper.

We talk about Pratchett's writing style (including the undercurrent of anger that is often noted by readers), dialogue, and humor; gender representation in the Watch; our favorite characters, scenes, and quotes; and the sticky subject of cover art.  KC sprinkles in some of her dream casting for a non-existent film adaptation, I share some thoughts about cosplaying a character from a book, we discuss the possible TV series adaptation, and we read part of a review from Anomaly staffer Michele.

10:25 - Main Topic Begins
23:35 - Spoiler Alert!

Description:

KC and Sue sit down for a somewhat freeform discussion about the current state of Hollywood.  First, we lay out the difference between adaptions, reboots, remakes, reimaginings, and revivals; and then try really hard to use the correct terms for the remainder of the podcast.  We talk about ret-conning versus rebooting; the seven (or maybe 4) different types of stories, and share our theories on why it seems that remakes, reboots, etc just seem to be everywhere.

122. Anomaly Classic | WORST OF TREK Series: The Game
http://traffic.libsyn.com/anom... download (audio/mpeg, 38.60Mb)

Description:

In this preveiously archived Anomaly Classic episode, from 2009 or 2010 (there's some discrepancy), Jen and Angela kick off their popular "Worst of Trek" series. Riker and the crew are addicted to a game that involves mentally directing a disk into a funnel. When this is achived, the player is "rewarded" by receiving pleasure signals from the device. Kinky. The woman who introduced it to Riker says that the game can go as far as the player will take it, and Riker decides to continue playing. WELL DUH. He's Riker! The man is all about pleasure.  "The Game" is the 106th episode of the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. The sixth episode of the fifth season.

123. Anomaly Supplemental | Dollhouse Panel: Does a Contract Negate Non-Consent? (Dragon Con 2013)
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 31.18Mb)

Description:

This episode is another panel from Dragon Con 2013:  "Does a Contract negate Non-Consent?" That's a wordy one, but it's a panel from the WhedonUniverse Track, discussing the world of Joss Whedon's short-lived series Dollhouse starring Eliza Dushku.

Even though this discussion is more about the world of that Caroline, the actives, and the Dollhouse exist in, I do want to sound the spoiler alert for anyone who has not watched both seasons of the show.

Additionally, this panel gets into ethics, the philosophy of law, and the question of personhood, as well as topics like coercion, consent, bodily autonomy, violence, abuse, and even rape. So if you are uncomfortable listening to discussion of those topics, you might want to skip this one.

Anomaly's next episode, the first of 2015, will be on role playing raid groups and how they relate to our real-life dynamics. Find out what roles Jen and Angela play in their circle of friends and hear funny stories that back up their positions. Coming January 1, 2015.

145. Your Moment of Who: Series 8, Episodes 1-3 (Deep Breath / Into the Dalek / Robot of Sherwood)
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 23.69Mb)

Description:

Doctor Who has returned! We're already a quarter of the way through Series 8, and KC and Sue talked for nearly two hours about the first three episodes featuring the new Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi. Don't worry, though - it has been edited down to a much more manageable 52 minutes (or so).  Please remember that we both only saw each episode once and that these episodes are "first reactions" to the episode.  Don't expect too much analysis.  There will be some, however, because we just can't stop ourselves.

****THIS EPISODE CONTAINS SPOILERS****

To help you avoid said spoilers and still listen, if you want, here are some time codes:
01:15 - Thoughts on the new title sequence
03:30 - Capaldi first impressions
06:30 - Deep Breath (KC and I disagree about something!)
19:10 - Into the Dalek
28:35 - Robot of Sherwood
33:00 - General thoughts so far (including some general Moffat crit around the 38 minute mark and also some things we forgot earlier.)
40:45 - An email from listener Marcus and our response
And stay tuned to the very end for over 2 minutes of ridiculous outtakes.

146. Anomaly | Outlander | Why You Should Read & Watch
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 40.13Mb)

Description:

Visit the show notes for links, trailers and more>>

Hi, I'm Jen and this is Anomaly's first podcast episode about Outlander. I recently sat down with my sister and my mom to discuss the time traveling series written by Diana Gabaldon. We also talked about the first two episodes of the new television show that Gabaldon and Ronald D. Moore created, based on her novels. Alas, I don't have the Starz Channel, but my mom graciously offered to record them for me—it's good to have connections. A couple of weeks ago, I had a free weekend, so I  traveled seventy-five miles to watch them with her and my younger sister. It was our "girls' night". We shared a couple of  bottles of wine and some laughs as we talked late into the evening about why we enjoyed the series. It's a very good excuse to get together more often and I think we're going to make it a habit.

147. Your Moment of Who: Doctor Who TV Movie (Eighth Doctor)
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 13.62Mb)

Description:

For full show notes and links to all of our social media, please visit anomalypodcast.com

Welcome to our final installment of this year's Classic Who series! KC and I discuss the 1996 TV Movie simply titled "Doctor Who" and starring Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor.

We talk about why American content creators should not be trusted with a 30+ year old BBC property, the overuse of racial stereotypes and gang/gun violence, the Seventh Doctor's traumatic end, and the somewhat odd characteristics of the Eighth Doctor (like kissing random women, which stuck around, and telling people bits from their future, which didn't). We also discuss the Doctor's apparently questionable genetic makeup, and again ask the age-old question: Why does the Master have superpowers?

148. Anomaly Supplemental: Jurassic Park
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 29.39Mb)

Description:

For full show notes and links to our social media, visit anomalypodcast.com

This month, while KC is busy a moving couple hundred miles, I was joined by Anomaly Correspondent and Staff Writer Sarah to talk about Jurassic Park.  From the very beginning, we had some particularly difficult issues with Skype, and even after correcting the audio as much as possible, Sarah still sounds a bit like she's in a fishbowl.  Apologies.

Along with favorite quotes/characters/scenes and John Williams's majestic score, we share stories of our first experiences with this movie, production trivia, comments from the Facebook group, and talk a little about the somewhat weighty themes of exploiting scientific advancement for monetary profit and attempted to control nature.

149. Anomaly| Guardians of The Galaxy Review

Description:

"I am Groot!"  In this edition of Anomaly, Angela and I review Guardians of The Galaxy. In short, the casting was great! The dialogue was clever, the comedy was non-stop awesome! And, as Gen Xers who both lived by the "awesome mix tape", as teenagers and young women, we both LOVED the soundtrack. It's definitely one to buy. We highly recommend you see this movie... now! 151. Your Moment of Who: The Greatest Show in the Galaxy (Seventh Doctor)
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 9.96Mb)

Description:

You know the drill by now.  The end of July means it's time that KC and I talk about the Seventh Doctor, by way of "The Greatest Show in the Galaxy."  After some preliminary research, we put this serial out there as our frontrunner for viewing, and received no other suggestions.  But our uncontested winner turned out to be one of our favorite serials (featuring one of our favorite Doctors) in this project.

As usual, the conversation takes some diversions, into things like "Zoobilee Zoo" and cosplay.

Additionally, we discuss what we have seen and heard so far regarding the upcoming Series 8, featuring Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor.  Neither of us has read the leaked scripts, but we do speculate, so if you want to remain completely unspoiled regarding the next series, that discussion begins around 16:30.  We don't talk about anything else, so you can just skip the rest.

152. Anomaly Supplemental: "Clue: The Movie"
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 44.54Mb)

Description:

This month on Anomaly Supplemental, KC and Sue discuss (and quote) Clue: The Movie, the 1985 film based on the classic board game.

Along with favorite quotes and production trivia, the co-hosts discuss which characters they play in the game, KC shares her dream cast for a stage production or remake of Clue, Sue shares musicals that Clue fans might enjoy, and the hosts discuss the appropriate mix of witty dialogue and what they refer to as "potty jokes."

This is a movie review and a slice of life hybrid; the first edition of a new podcast series and one of many adventures to be shared by this geek mom and her rambunctious preschooler.

154. Your Moment of Who: The Mark of the Rani (Sixth Doctor)
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 7.36Mb)

Description:

The end of another month means the KC and Sue chat about another Doctor! We're on another adventure with Peri, but this time, she's accompanying the Sixth Doctor, as portrayed by Colin Baker, in The Mark of the Rani (show notes).

In this episode, KC makes a potentially controversial statement about The Master, we collectively decide that we need the Rani to return to New Who, and Sue ends up pitching an episode idea for Series 8.  (You can have it, Moffat!  All yours!)

158. Anomaly Supplemental: Geeky Guilty Pleasures
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 56.89Mb)

Description:

Click here for Show Notes >>

This month's Anomaly Supplemental is an admission of guilt from KC and Sue. Well, "guilty pleasures," that is.

From reality TV shows to paranormal romances, the Supplemental hosts cover almost every geeky and non-geeky guilty pleasure that they hold. The phrase itself has a lot of connotations, but we're focusing on the chocolate cake analogy--chocolate cake may be delicious and you want more every time you have some, but how many times have you had a slice for breakfast? And who have you told that you ate chocolate cake for that morning's breakfast? Best thing ever, yes. A little bit of guilt? You could say that...

Next month's topic: "The Night Circus," a novel by Erin Morgenstern (published 2011)

159. The Women of Star Wars | Anomaly
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 166.26Mb)

Description:

May the Fourth be with you! In this special Star Wars Day episode, Jen and Angela discuss the women of the Star Wars universe. Click for show notes. To the hosts, Star Wars also encompasses what was formerly known as: “The Expanded Universe” or “The EU” as fans call it. The EU included all officially licensed content, outside the films and television shows; such as novels, comics and games.

Minor spoilers included regarding characters. Please see the episode show notes to find out how far to fast forward to skip the spoilers, as well as links to content mentioned in this episode and a slide show of female characters. There are a number of women in the EU and in the background of the films, so they may not have included all of your favorites. The hosts discussed as many as they could and added as many characters as they could find to their slide show in the show notes; including fan art and cosplay photos. They also discussed the recent controversy about the EU and the announcemnt about the cast. Jen and Angela weigh in on the debate and try to offer hope to concerned fans while still expressing their own disappointments over the years and their nervousness with regards to J.J. Abram's involvment.

Special thanks to Jen's Star Wars Stacks co-hosts, Chris and Joe and to the Anomaly Group for their participation.

http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 11.60Mb)

Description:

It's the end of April, and time to talk about the Fourth Doctor, Tom Baker. With so many serials to choose from during Four's tenure, KC and I narrowed it down a bit by companion (Sarah Jane Smith was required) before opening the poll up in the Anomaly Facebook group. Genesis of the Dalekswon by a landslide, and now we know why.

Show Notes »

As usual, we talk about costumes, effects, make up, and the philosophical questions posed by the serial. All while being distracted by our animals and making silly jokes. Enjoy!

Description:

In this episode of Your Moment of Who, KC and I begin our Classic Who series. This month - because it's still January - we watched the very first Doctor Who serial ever - "An Unearthly Child" - with the very first Doctor ever, William Hartnell. The serial includes 4 episodes: "An Unearthly Child," "The Cave of Skulls," "The Forest of Fear," and "The Firemaker."

We talk a bit about the difference in style from 1963 to now, how the character of the Doctor has changed (or not changed), and come to the conclusion that Susan is a little bit insane. Among other things, of course.

179. Anomaly Supplemental: Mary Sues and Strong Female Characters
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 22.98Mb)

Description:

In this episode of Anomaly Supplemental, KC and Sue do their best to cover a somewhat loaded topic. What's a "Mary Sue"? What's a "Strong Female Character"? Can the same character be both, or are they mutually exclusive? We talk about where the concept of "Mary Sue" in fan fiction, what is has morphed into, and some characters that are generally considered to be Mary Sues. But we also talk about what we feel makes a good, strong, well-developed character, and what "strong" really means in that sense. And of course, some of our favorite personal examples.  The episode carries an "explicit" tag for a little bit of profanity in some quotes.  Please see our show notes at AnomalyPodcast.com for links to articles and other podcast episodes that we mention throughout.

Brief warning: while some of the spoilers we mention are a few decades old, there are spoilers for newer properties like Irredeemable.

182. Anomaly Supplemental: Ghostbusters
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 28.09Mb)

Description:

Ten months in the making, it is finally here! Our Halloween 2012 episode! As explained at the start of the podcast, the scheduling of this episode was derailed a bit by Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy, and holidays, and moving, etc. And since it was more important to try to keep new episodes on schedule, the editing of this episode fell by the wayside. But the wait is over!

As usual, KC and I talk about our favorite lines, characters, scenes, and supernatural creatures in the film. We also ponder Ghostbusters II, complain about the state of commercially-available Halloween costumes, praise the cultural pervasiveness of this franchise, and discuss the state of comedy genre films.  This episode carries an explicit tag for some mild swearing in audio clips used.

183. Anomaly | The Star Trek Into Darkness Debate
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 62.31Mb)

Description:

This episode features a debate on how Star Trek: Into Darkness treats its female characters. Angela and Jen purposefully took extreme stances in order to make the debate more entertaining. The goal was to represent both sides of this discussion while offering the contrasting views of the listeners. The hosts did their best to make this a balanced and respectful discussion. They hope you find it interesting, even if you find their arguements flawed in some way. See the show notes for links at AnomalyPodcast.com. Thank you for listening! Please rate us on iTunes and favorite us on Stitcher Smart Radio.

184. Anomaly Supplemental: The Chocolate Factory Debate
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 60.47Mb)

Description:

A few months ago, Sue and KC asked listeners to vote on their next topic and the winner was 1971's "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate" starring Gene Wilder versus 2005's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" starring Johnny Depp. For the sake of title length, we have called this episode The Chocolate Factory Debate, but as Sue mentions at the beginning, this discussion may not be much of a "debate" after all. Topics range from the original book by Roald Dahl, the performances of Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp, the musical aspects of both films, the controversial Fizzy Lifting drink scene, and more. And so, as one Mr. Wonka said to his group of visitors: "Are we ready? Yes. Good. In we go!"

No you get to hear us gush...  But first thing's first - we respond to some feed back from regular emailer Andrew, and discuss some more opinions about the first few episodes with Clara and her story that far.  Then it's on to the new stuff - Spoilers, Sweetie - we discuss "The Crimson Horror," "Nightmare in Silver," and "The Name of the Doctor."  And we, of course, can't help but delve into some of the rumors and possible spoilers that have been going around regarding the 50th Anniversary Special in November. (Don't worry - a second spoiler warning is given.)  And no Moment of Who would be complete without a few jabs at River Song.  ;)

It's a slice of life from the sticks of South Texas.  Music included in this show, in order of play: Django Reinhardt's "Honeysuckle Rose", Hank Williams Senior's "Hey Good Look'n" and Bob Wills and The Texas Playboys' "Milk Cow Blues".

190. Anomaly of Futurma: Love's Labours Lost in Space
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 38.85Mb)

Description:

In this edition of Anomaly, Jen and Angela discuss "Love's Labours Lost in Space" from Futurama's first season. The hosts talk about their favorite moements in the episode, favorite quotes and recall uncomfortable situations where, in true Zapp fashion, men who thought they were "God's gift to women" turned everything they said into sexual innuendos. Good times...

It's a casual, meandering chat that is lighthearted and fun...until their children crash the party at the end, causing a containment breach.

Anomaly is more than a podcast, it's a conversation between friends. And, as a listener of said conversation, we consider you one of us! 191. Your Moment of Who: Doctor Who, Series 7, Episodes 8-10 (Anomaly Supplemental)
http://www.anomalypodcast.com/... download (audio/mpeg, 19.71Mb)

Description:

Here we go again!  Kasey and I set out to talk about episodes 8-10* of Doctor Who, Series 7 - "Cold War," "Hide," and "Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS."  Of course, because it's us, we got a little sidetracked.  So, you'll also hear about Arthur Darvill's stint on Broadway in the Tony-winning musical "Once," and how I thought he did when I was there last Saturday.  And also, how not to behave when you go to see an actor you know from genre TV do another project.  Plus, our hopes for the remainder of Series 7, frustration over what appear to be several let-downs so far, and our nervousness and skepticism over the up-coming episode titled "The Name of the Doctor."

As always:  SPOILERS MAY BE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR.

*Okay, so our episode numbering got wonky.  I was following the tardis.wikia numbering, which originally put the Christmas special as Episode 6.  Which made "The Bells of Saint John" and "The Rings of Akhaten" Episodes 7-8.  But now, the Christmas special is not being considered a numbered episode....  Whatever.  So, in the interest of conformity, episode numbers for the last Moment of Who are incorrect.  Oh well.
