At a young age, Gianna had to learn how to build rapport and new friendships with the other kids very quickly before the family moved on to their next station. The constant moving was especially difficult for her: being the new kid and having only one hand often made her a target of bullying. Once, she was even pushed into her locker at school and trapped in it for 3 hours. Those types of events are never forgotten. They helped mold her character and fueled her desire to be able help those that were facing similar challenges like the ones she faced as a child. Kindness came when, at a neighbor’s recommendation, Gianna became the March of Dimes’ Poster Child for the State of Florida from 1972 – 1976. “A child who needs a hand gets one when you give to the March of Dimes” was the tagline to help raise awareness and funds for the research to help prevent birth defects. The years I spent teaching allowed me to observe first-hand the common problems that most amateurs experience with their golf swing. I noticed that the beginners as well as the accomplished players were being held back by the same basic problems. After years of research, experimentation and collaboration I was confident I had the perfect tool. The Orange Whip Trainer is the swing aid and golf fitness product for a new generation. I believe it to be the best swing aid ever created and am confident that anyone that uses my product on a regular basis will agree.
