It sounds like a lot of the damage could have been averted if they had acted to clean up the spill sooner. Empty green waves like these should serve to remind us how great a gift we are given to live next to the ocean, and that we all need to do our part to protect it. Shot in 1080i HDV. 31. BWTV06: horsemeat
Array download (video/vnd.objectvideo, 15.08Mb)

Description:
Horsemeat is a political satire mock-doc that makes fun of a law that dis-allows the human consumption of horsemeat. It is an ineffective law that tries to define morality as it applies to human treatment of animals that are considered pets. The irony of the law is that it does not prevent the use of horsemeat as dogfood nor do anything to curb the worldwide human consumption of horsemeat (153,000 tons/year). In fact, the system of recycling horse carcass is quite efficient and useful. This is an example of useless moral legislation. The meaning of horsemeat is not to protest any law in particular, but to protest the excessive law in our daily lives and the silliness of some laws in general. This is after all the 'land of the free'.
