Description: “Those who risk nothing, do nothing, achieve nothing, become nothing” Those simple words sum up the attitude of one of the greatest, and best-loved, motorcycle road racers of all time – David Jefferies. Duke is delighted to be able to pay tribute to the inimitable DJ with the release of previously unseen footage of the great man. David Jefferies Unseen is a 26 minute-long programme featuring David in a range of machinery that is only available as a download. A donation will be made to the David Jefferies Memorial Fund for every download purchased. Yorkshireman DJ built an army of fans with his determined, skilful and unique riding, which saw him claim nine wins around the legendary Isle of Man TT Course. Anyone lucky enough to see him in action will never forget his distinctive style as he mastered the 37.73 mile Mountain Circuit. He took triple victories at the TT in 1999, 2000 and 2002, and set a staggering, record-breaking 127.29mph lap speed. DJ was also a star at the Ulster Grand Prix, Macau, Scarborough, North West 200 and other leading events. He also enjoyed short circuit success, winning the British Superstock, British Powerbike Production and Triumph Speed Triple championships. Off the bike, his obvious passion for riding and his down-to-earth personality brought him even closer to the fans. Despite his incredible speed, there was no ‘star’ ego with DJ, just an ordinary bloke who loved bikes. David was destined for even greater things, but it was never to be. He lost his life in a crash during practice for the 2003 TT. Many films featuring DJ’s awesome talents have been released, but now you can watch 26 minutes of previously unseen material. David Jefferies Unseen includes exclusive on-board footage as DJ swaps two wheels for four and takes a Mitsubishi Pajero around the Jurby Airfield circuit during a Duke Track Day and over the famous Mountain Road on Mad Sunday. You also go on-board as he rides a Suzuki GSXR1000 at Jurby and takes the wheel of a stock car at Onchan Raceway. The film concludes with hilarious outtakes from the making of the hugely popular TT Circuit Guide programme. 36. Nissan Skyline GT-R
http://www.dukevideo.com/Cars/... download (video/mp4, 12.89Mb)

Description: The original 'beast from the east', the Nissan Skyline GT-R is an icon for power, speed and advanced Japanese automotive technology. With straight-6 engines capable of being tuned to over 1000bhp, 4WD, intelligent torque-splitting differentials, rear wheel steering and enough electronics to keep a space station going, the R-32, R-33 and most recent R-34 models are mechanical 'tours de force'. But what do they go like and what speeds are they really capable of? Our new DVD traces the GT-R's technical development and tuning options, and then puts you in the hot seat for several memorable rides. How about a lap of the old Nurburgring with 'ringmeister' Dirk Schoysman at up to 190 mph with drifting at 160 mph? Or a ride on a GP track in the ultimate racing Skyline - the Falken Tyres R34? If that's not scared you, an Autobahn blast in a 600 bhp Prospec-NISMO R34 should do the trick! If you thought only ground-hugging 2-seater sportscars with names like Ferrari, Lamborghini or Porsche could be called 'supercars', think again! 37. Dakar 2006
http://www.dukevideo.com/Cars/... download (video/mp4, 12.60Mb)

Description: Welcome to the most physically gruelling and mentally challenging motor sport event in the world. Since its creation in 1978, the popularity of the Dakar Rally has grown stronger and stronger every year. But this unique event has always remained loyal to its founding values: a unique sporting competition in the heart of Africa, experienced by all, amateurs and professionals alike, as an extraordinary human adventure. This year's route follows some of the world's most testing yet breath-taking terrain from Portugal, through Spain and into the gateway to Africa, Morocco, where they will come face to face with desert riding for the first time. They will then race deeper into the continent through Mauritania, Mali, and Guinea before finally ending their treacherous journey in Senegal. 2006 attracted some of the greatest names in motorsport, including Cyril Despres, Stephane Peterhansel and Luc Alphand. 240 motorcycles, 188 cars, 80 trucks left Lisbon but with less than 40 per cent on average making it to the finish each year, no-one's fate was guaranteed. Excitingly, navigation regained its status on the 2006 Dakar and meant the difference between success and failure, triumph and disaster. This year competitors only had three sources of information: the hidden waypoints, the road-book and the direction followed, pushing racers to the limits of their endurance and survival capabilities. Through a dramatic variety of landscapes, including snow-capped peaks, dunes, oases, redlands and spectacular river crossings, this fully loaded review follows teams through their ups and downs, joys and pains to deliver the ultimate adventure on DVD. Includes interviews from all the top teams, plus behind-the-scenes footage. For more details visit: http://www.dukevideo.com/Cars/DVD/Rallying/Dakar%20Rally/Dak ar%20Rally%202006%20DVD.aspx

42. TT Challenge
http://www.dukevideo.com/Cars/... download (video/mp4, 20.57Mb)

Description: If you thought in-car TT '88 was a nail-biter then wait until you watch this sequel with rally ace Tony Pond at the wheel of a standard production Rover 827 Vitesse his second bid to be the first person to lap the Isle of Man TT circuit at over 100mph in a four wheeled vehicle. Tony an Isle of Man resident and Britain's most famous rally driver almost made it during his attempt in 1988. For his 1990 challenge he chose to do it witout a navigator. This meant a useful weight-saving - particularly effective on the 1000 feet climb from sea-level to the highest point on the circuit - but would require Tony to have perfect memory and knowledge of the TT courses 100+ bends in order to break the record. This tape tells the full story of a remarkable achievement and captures the excitement and thrill of the record run itself via the use of on-board cameras. The end result is probably the best quality point-of-view footage ever recorded actually during a record attempt or motorsport event. We defy you not to be impressed as you enter corners where the average car and driver would be on-the-limit at 70mph at nearly double that speed. Join Tony now for the ride of your life, but make sure you are firmly strapped in your favourite armchair before you press the play button!
