Normally I would only show my best work but in this case I decided to post all of the images from this roll of film just so that you can get the feel of what a pinhole camera is capable of. There's quite a bit of camera shake in many of these shots due to strong winds and a very light camera. Next time I'll take along something heavy to stabilize it with. This is one of a couple of the shots I chose to work on in Photoshop. For this I liked the craggy shapes and the way the shadows from the rocks behind me echoed the shapes of the rocks in front. I used many of the same techniques here that I've used many times on the show. The best examples can be found in PhotoWalkthrough Tutorial 10. You can see how the camera was made in the short video building a pinhole camera and you can find out more about this picture and the others from the same roll in PhotoWalkthrou gh Episode 67. This is one of a couple of the shots I chose to work on in Photoshop. It was incredibly cold up there on the top of that hill and this was shot from one of the few places you can get out of the wind. I'm right up against the tower of the castle and the view is stunning. In this case I wanted to add a feeling of the coldness and the shelter while keeping that gorgeous landscape view. I used a technique very similar to the one I demonstrated in PhotoWalkthrough Tutorial 11.
