Podborski is the Chef de Mission for Canadian athletes at the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. He is also a former Crazy Canuck ski racer. The course, named after fellow Crazy Canuck, Dave Murray, is one of the most challenging race courses on the ski racing circuit. Athletes will fly down the Dave Murray at speeds of more than 140km per hour!

The event features ski clinics, avalanche awareness tours and GORE-TEX discounts. The Deep Winter Photo Challenge, presented by Arc’Teryx is the signature event. This year, Jordan Manley, last season's King of Storms come back to defend his crown. Also on the roster are Dan Carr, Andrew Bradley, Crispin Cannon and Brian Hockenstein who are all some of the top ski and snowboard photographer's in North America. After three days of shooting in the elements, they will present their slideshows capturing epic powder days, dramatic skies, inspiring scenery, stormy conditions, deep tree skiing, and the lifestyles characterized at Whistler Blackcomb.
