1. Rockcast Tuesday.02.16.10a; John Lennon, Eurythmics, Foreigner, Doug Fieger & Bruce Kulick, The Apers, Santana & Clapton, Butch Walker http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mp3, 37.19Mb) Description: I was approached today about a performance tax bill that is up for a vote in Congress. The bill would basically make radio stations in America pay a tax everytime they play a song. First problem, they already pay royalties. Secondly, this tax money would not be used to improve roads or whatever where you live. This "tax" money would go straight into the pockets of record companies in other parts of the world. Let me repeat that. The money goes over seas. This would mean many radio stations would go belly up. The Association of Broadcasters is stating it would mean the end of the small "Mom & Pop" Stations. News Flash! These little private operators are already extinct. Major Domo corporations own all the radio stations in my home town. The bill was co authored by a congressman from Michigan with help from a Vermont C.M. What are these tools thinking? What lobby got them elected and has them by the cahoonies? Michigan is on the verge of total meltdown failure and elected chumps are wasting time on this tripe? You Michi-maniacs need to wake up and get this clown out of office. He is suppose to be working for you. How does this help the unemployed in Michigan? It doesn't. Now there is a web site you can go to but the trouble there is all they are doing is collecting your name and E mail address and selling it to others. So I urge you to write your congressman and remind him who he works for and tell him to vote NO on the radio performance tax. DO NOT go to any radio stations web site that want you to give up information that they will use for profit. Write, Congress and stop this crap now. Thank you. Lets ROCK! rockcast is against radio performance tax 1. John Lennon - Nobody Told Me 2. The Eurythmics - I Want It All 3. The Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams [Big Al Mix 10] 4. 2. Rockcast Friday.02.12.10a; Butch Walker, Lacuna Coil, Cheap Trick, Farmer Dave Scher, Dave Edmunds, Love Sculpture, Jimi Hendrix http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 43.30Mb) Description: So I'm working in the studio when the phone rang. On the other end is a woman who identifies herself as a representative of the local newspaper. Calling me by my first name she ask if I have been receiving my daily paper. I tell her yes. Shen then calls me by my first name again and states she sees I have not paid my bill yet and when can she expect payment. I had already paid the bill so I asked her since when did the paper start harrassing the patrons about paying their bill. She said it wasn't harrassment it was a courtesy call. I then asked her how this was a courtesy to me. Her reply was a question. "Sir , when can we expect payment?" I laughed out loud and told her I was going to double check to make sure it was payed. I then thanked her for bringing the matter to my attention. As I was hanging up I could hear her rattling on about whatever. It's bad enough the paper is shrinking down to nothing more than adds for department stores and furniture. Now this horse drop. Being the only paper in the fourth largest city in America I guess they figure they got it dicked. Sell adds then get people to pay you to see said adds, brilliant. That is not why I have taken the paper for 3 decades. I can see the major metropolitan newspaper going the way of the wagon makers at the turn of the 20th Century. All that will be left are the little private rags that give fanatics a platform to push their political ideal upon you. The ones that always end up as a pile of paper pulp at the front of my drive way. I never subscribed but for some reason they keep throwing a copy there every week. Now a new one has appeared so there is now 2. What a waste of paper. Oh and I checked the bill has been paid for 2 months. They had cashed the check a full 7 days before. Bozo is definately driving that clown car. rockcast 1. Butch Walker & The Let's Go Out Tonites - Hot Girls In Good Moods 2. Butch Walker & The Black Widows - Trash Day 3. Lacuna Coil - I Won't Tell You 4. Cheap Trick - If It Takes A Lifetime 5. Farmer Dave Scher - Finnz Hammock 6. Dave Edmunds - I Hear You Knocking 7. Love Sculpture - Sabre Dance 8. 3. Rockcast Wednesday.02.10.10a; Pistoleros, Hot Chip, Anju Ramapriyam, Alvin Stardust, The Bird & The Bee, Queen, Bare Naked Ladies, Starz, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mp3, 40.08Mb) Description: I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for being patient as I attempt to upgrade my site and blog. The support folk have been very supportive except for the language barrier. We both speak English but you wouldn't know it by listening to us trying to communicate. I get caught up in the rhythmic cadence of his sing song delivery and whatever he is saying goes right by my head. I am constantly asking him to repeat himself. Of course it doesn't help when I say things like "Don't butter my boots and try to tell me they're biscuits." Which is Big AL-ese for don't B.S. me. So until it is resolved and I have finished with the artwork I hope it won't be much of a hassle for you. Should you be having any trouble, I am as usual always interested. Let me know. Thanks again for stopping by. rockcast 1. The Pistoleros - Just Hold On 2. Hot Chip - Thieves In The Night 3. Anju Ramapriyam - Signed Sealed Delivered 4. 4. Rockcast Monday.02.08.10a; Nightwish,The Four Horsemen, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, John Campbell John, Jetboy, Hollywood Rose, Mozely Rose, Boston http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 40.15Mb) Description: So today is the official unofficial hangover day known in America as "Super Bowl Monday". The traditional day of recovery after the most important professional American football game of the season. Turned out to be the most watched program in the history of television. Not just sporting events. All TV. The old record holder, the 1983 final episode of the comedy M.A.S.H. So a record crowd was tuned in when what is left of the Who took the stage for the halftime show. What I witnessed was an awful shame. Obvious to me Roger Daltry did not feel the need to warm up his voice. His upper register has been weak for a number of years now and he was painfully off on the notes. He was reduced to a chesty shout out. Pete Townsend who is one of the most influental guitarist of his and My Generation showed an occasional flurry of licks but for the most part just tried to do his now famous windmill arm motion. Looks like the shoulder is kinda creaky these days Pete! After about five minutes Daltrys voice began to come around. Gee Roger couldn't take five before the set to get ready? One critic called the performance "Like having someone chew your food for you". I assume he was refering to the fact it took 6 musicians to do what used to be kids play for 4. Time to hang it up. rockcast 1.Nightwing - Bye Bye Beautiful 2. The Four Horsemen - Rockin' Is My Business 3. Ozark Mountain Daredevils - Jump At The Chance 4. John Campbell John - Manslaughter 5. Jetboy - Don't Mess With My Hair/ Bad Disease 6. Hollywood Rose - Killing Time 7. Mozely Rose - I Don't Know You Anymore 8. Boston - Rock and Roll Band [Rockcast Mix] |

5. Rockcast Thursday.02.04.10a; Bruce Kulick & Steve Lukather, Four Star Mary, Willie Alexander & The Boom Boom Band, Michelle Shocked, Matthew Sweet, Butthole Surfers, Big Star, Nerf Herders. http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 37.71Mb) Description: So let's review. A few months back there was cash for clunkers program. Many Americans traded in their monster SUV's for a certain Japanese import that has been in the news. Critics claim the clunker program was a failure because it was suppose to put cash back in the coffers of the Big 3 auto makers in Detroit Mi. not in the pockets of foreign automakers. Now many of these folks have to hassle with going to a dealer- ship to have the problem fixed. Believe me it is a total hassle to have to deal with car dealerships on any level. A friend [at the time of the program] told me it would come back to bite us on the ass. So is it poetic justice or just cruel irony that this would happen to your new imported car after you snubbed the big 3's catalog of automobiles? Nope just another pain in the arse bump in the road of life. I see the CEO of said automaker on the tube saying his company would work 24 - 7 to fix the problem. He said they would not stop until it was fixed. Hmmm, not stop, that's the problem from the get go. Poor choice of words on his part. rockcast 1. Bruce kulick & Steve Lukather - Between The Lines 2. Four Star Mary - Shadows 3. Willie Alexander & The Boom Boom Band - Hey Kid 4. Michelle Shocked - Don't Mess With My Little Sister 5. Matthew Sweet - Girlfriend [LP Mix] 6. Rockcast Tuesday.02.02.10a; Matthew Sweet & Susanna Hoffs, REO Speedwagon, Bruce Kulick, The Derailers, Dwight Twilley, Shout Out Louds, Foreigner http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 37.75Mb) Description: Groundhog Day. No Bill Murray sightings. Guess We'll be safe until spring. Actually I sat through the film of the same name with my 12 year old. She was totally amazed by the story of a jerk who has to relive the same day over and over. The film is a totally quirky adventure with some very hilarious scenes. Another cool thing about having kids, getting to share funny films with them. We laughed all through. Then when it was over we noticed it was on again, and again and again after that. We laughed some more. Happy Groundhog Day Bill. rockcast 1. Matthew Sweet & Susanna Hoffs - Go All The Way/ Second Hand News 2. REO Speedwagon - Flash Tan Queen 3. Bruce Kulick - Ain't Gonna Die 4. 8. Rockcast Thursday.01.28.10a; The Laughing Hyena Singers,.38 Special, REO Speedwagon, The Four Tops, Day Of Fire, The Middle East, Third Eye Blind, Chris Rea http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mp3, 36.32Mb) Description: So as I watched the President give his State of the Union speech last night I thought "Wow, he is talking right to me." In the first two minutes he said he understood people were tired of the Bull. Tired of partisanship. Tired of all the bickering. Man that is so me. I have gotten to the point where I am sick of watching anything from America calling itself News. On a local level maybe but for the Big Picture I look to the BBC. Here in the U.S. they are to busy wondering when Paris is going to do another sex tape with a chihuahua. Or if Gerard Butler can still fit in his Spartan togs. The republicans [I purposely left it uncapitalized] should be ashamed of themselves. The State of the Union address is the task of the President of the United States, not the task of the newly elected tool of a governor of Virginia. I understand giving both sides of the story but these talking heads push there own agenda and look for people they can go into agreement with. You trying to tell me if the republican candidate had been elected anything would be any better? Horsesheet. One year ago the idiot-crisy was calling for an end to GW Bush. Now they want to renew his tax cuts for the wealthy that just months ago they were bitchin' about. People need to get behind the man and his plan. If one more clown tells me it's too ambitious I'll nail 'em. We are suppose to be ambitious. rockcast 1. The Laughing Hyena Singers - I'm Your Mailman 2. .38 Special - You Keep On Running 3. REO Speedwagon - Dream Weaver 4. The Four Tops - Keeper Of The Castle 5. Day Of Fire - Lately 6. The Middle East - Blood 7. Third Eye Blind - Monotovs Private Opera 8. Chris Rea - Lets Dance |

9. Rockcast Wednesday.01.27.10a; Z Z Top, American Dog, Hall & Oates, Death Cab For Cutie, Sweet, Nappy Brown, Eric Clapton, Coldplay, Jeff Pasternak. http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 39.88Mb) Description: Tonight in America the President gives his State of the Union speech. He has been in office for one year so the "report cards" are coming in from the talking heads to the pundits. 61% of people who voted for him are not for him now. These peeps feel he let them down. Didn't keep his campaign promises. Personally when I hear a campaign promise I always say "sure, like that's going to happen". I never believe any. I have watched this happen since Nixon so I know of what I speak. So if you thought it was just a matter of getting him in office to get what you wanted think again. No matter who is the President he gets all the problems that already existed and more. To the 61% I can only say give it time. Oh and you wanted change, well that's all you have. In your pockets. rockcast 1. Z Z Top - Bad Girl 2. American Dog - Driving Down The Sidewalk 3. Hall & Oates - Johnny Gore & The C Eaters 4. Death Cab For Cutie - Little Bribes 5. Sweet - Blockbuster 6. Nappy Brown - Open Up That Door 7. Eric Clapton - Forever Man 8. Coldplay - A Message 2010 9. Jeff Pasternak - Your Face My Space |

10. Rockcast Monday.01.25.10a; Cats In Boots, Gary Moore, Joe Walsh, Speak, Melanie Safka, April Smith & The Great Picture Show, Chicago, Warrant. http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 28.16Mb) Description: Newspaper story links the Chinese to numerous hack attacks across the U.S. The Chinese of course deny this. Is it possible with so many people they are unaware of the facts? In the last few months I noticed that there was at times huge increases in listeners. Upon further investigation it turns out the increase was coming from mainland China. Turns out one address is passing it along to others in the area. I have even been to the site but because I do not have the correct Chinese fonts loaded I can't display the pages properly. I don't speak Chinese or read it so it would be useless. So when I see one visit downloaded 25 gigs I know somethings rotten. I also keep track of how many attempted hacks on Rockcast itself. Since 2010 started, a grand total of attempts, 2,283! By far the vast majority can be traced back to,... you know where. So excuse me if I tend to believe what I am reading here. rockcast 1. Cats In Boots - Long Long Way From Home 2. Gary Moore - Evil Ways 3. Joe Walsh - Forty Thousand Headmen 4. Speak - Carrie [Mindful] 5. Melanie - Candles In The Rain [Rockcast EHS Mix] 6. April Smith & The Great Picture Show - Colors 7. 11. Rockcast Thursday.01.21.10a; Birdinumnums, Pearl Jam,Spocks Beard, L.A. Guns, April Wine, Yusuf Islam, Uncle Kracker. http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 38.12Mb) Description: Wires are running every where but lose. Adding new equipment to the studio is always a fun time for yours truly. Plus every year after the holidays the Studio is always trashed. So it is an optimum time to 'upgrade". New microphone cables should go a long way. If you are wondering I use Marshal MXL mics. Plus for instruments I use Sennheiser mics. Also Qsc Amps. Makie mixers. Technic Pro turntable. Akai, Teac & Pioneer open reel tape decks. Plus JVC dual cassette deck. Marantz, Maganavox, Vector Research & Sharp CD decks are also in the rack although rarely do I use these now. Open reel players are great for restoring old 1/4 inch reel tapes. Restore than make a CD copy to play. Works great. Enough kibitzing, give the set a listen while I rewire these monitors. rockcast 1. The Birdinumnums - Little Libertine [Big AL Mix 10] 2. Pearl Jam - Unthought Unknown 3. Spocks Beard - Shining Star 4. L.A. Guns - Just Between You and Me 5. April Wine - 21st Century Schizoid Man 6. 12. Rockcast Wednesday.01.20.10a; Bigfoot Chester, Alice Cooper, Allen Toussaint, Chicago, Autograph, Bang Tango, Fastway http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 36.88Mb) Description: There is a recently released book out of Washington that has Senator Harry Reid in trouble for making inappropriate remarks on the campaign trail in '08. In a case of "he said", Reid is quoted as saying things about the Presidents skin tone and the fact he can speak ebonics when he feels like it. Ouch! These comments were overheard by the Author as Reid was talking to another. Now from the same book comes word that former President Slick Willie Clinton made an on the side comment about how it was funny that President was elected. According to the book Bill said some thing about ten years ago Obama would have been serving him coffee. When I first read the quote I took it as the then unknown Obama would of been low man on the totem pole. Everybody in the office knows the Newbie makes and gets the coffee. Then I turn on the tube and see the idiots on the psuedo news channels yelling RACISM! If Barry O was a white guy this would have never been an issue. Just pure hateful bile spewing from these arseholes mouths. How and why are these lowlifes on the air? Worse, why are there people listening and believing them? Feeble minds are easily swayed. Lots of Feeble minds it seems. Whats this World coming to? rockcast 1. National Lampoon - Jimmy Dugan Revisted 2. Bigfoot Chester - Harpoon Man 3. Alice Cooper - Grim Facts 3. Allen Toussaint - Southern Nights 4. Chicago - What's This World Coming To? 5. Autograph - Cloud 10 6. Bang Tango - Shotgun Man 7. Fastway - Far Far From Home |

Secondly, The Ting Tings Guitarist/vocalist's name is Katie not Kelly, or what ever it was I said. Plus Richard Hell was a Voidoid before the Only Ones. Sometimes I get to having so much fun doing this I mess up. Nothing really serious and most probably would'nt even notice. Now that the corrections are made let us get on with it. rockcast 1. The Chemical Brothers - The Boxer 2. Semi Precious Weapons - Semi Precious Weapons 3. The Ting Tings - Fruit Machine 4. The Beatles - Polythene Pam/ She Came In Through The Bathroom Window 5. The Only Ones - Another Girl Another Planet 6. The Buckinghams - Mercy Mercy Mercy 7. Spoon - I Saw The Light 8. Christine McVie - Love Will Show Us How 9. The Knack - Your Name Or Your Number 10. 14. Rockcast Friday.01.15.10a; Monkees, Frank Marino & Mahogony Rush, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Mano Negra, Steve Earl, The Scruffs, Cross Canadian Ragweed http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 45.31Mb) Description: Talking to my older brother Big Vic the other day about a person we know who basically, I said is addicted to drugs. "We are all addicted to some drug" Big Vic stated. I told him I wasn't to which he replied "You drink coffee?" Ok now you're just nit pickin' I told him. I'm talking about the fact this guy goes through more pills than an online Canadian pharmacy. Well, then you mean they are abusing pharmacueticals he said. You know what? He's right. This is what we have become. Addicted is no longer the junkies in some back alley. It's your best friends Mom. Teens today are more likely to go through your medicine cabinet than they are to be getting it on the street. Yeah like Bill Clinton's definition of sex many people have their own definition of a "druggie". Many who are down on a guy for having long hair or for smoking a little weed are pounding the Oxycotin and other "beans". They get it from their Doctor Feelgoods so it must be alright. I just shake my head when I see how much some people I know are taking. Yep you are better than us, go pop a couple more Seconals. rockcast 1. Todd Barry Intro; Behind The Music 2. 15. Rockcast Thursday.01.14.10a; Rush, Ok Go, Fountains Of Wayne, Pete Brown, Mozely Rose, Vampire Weekend, Grand Funk Railroad, Roine Stalt http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 44.81Mb) Description: So here we go again. Bankers are again abusing their power and using us for their own survival. After last years major bailout we as taxpayers are faced with an uncertain future. Not Surprising once again monsterous bonuses are being payed out. One nefarious institution is handing out an average bonus of $600,000.00. A lot of zeros. That figure of course is the low ball average number. Many employees received much more. Seven, even eight figures. Then to top it of the piece of defecation they call the CEO defended his company bonuses by stating with out these bucks then he would lose top notch employees. He likened his cronies to professional atheletes or American movie stars. Yeah well last time I looked when an athelete or movie star went broke we as tax payers didn't have to bail them out. These jerks need to be stopped. What could you possible do to warrant an eight figure bonus? Then I open my credit card end of year statement to find because I pay my bill on time every month no interest was charged, but I was whacked with a "users fee" of $45. Reward for paying my bills on time. Dirty Bastitches. Maybe the eight figure bonus guy's idea, I don't know. I do know I am out $45. for being a responsible person who pays their bills. rockcast 1. Rush - The Big Money 2. Ok Go - I Want You So Bad I Can't Breathe 3. Fountains Of Wayne - Mexican Wine 4. Pete Brown - Cry It Out 5. Mozely Rose - Funk Off 6. Vampire Weekend - California English 7. It was inside another copy of George Harrison's All Things Must Pass. The sound was very murky but after a little cleaning it sounds nice. The song was recorded in October of 1964 and features Sir George Martin on piano. I failed to mention it during the set. So enjoy... 1. Puddle Of Mudd - Uno Mas 2. 17. Rockcast Monday.01.11.10a; Alabama Lovesnakes, Genesis, Z Z Top, Audra Hardt, Electric Light Orchestra, Captain Tractor, Elvis Presley, Reach Around Rodeo Clowns http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 43.20Mb) Description: I'm not a numeraloligist [is that even a word?] but I have been seeing some interesting dates already this decade. For instance if you were born on the second day of January your birthday would be 01022010 [01-02-2010] reads front to back to front. Or today, 01-11-10. As the set number indicates today is 011110. Looks like a number from Alcatraz! Or an invitation to a binary bash. Personally I have always been linked to the numbers 3 & 4. For instance I am the third in the line of Big AL's. I am also my parents fourth child and on and on. My son also is a 3& 4 guy as well as 7. He was born on 7-7-93. [9+3= 12, divisible by 3 & 4 & 3+4=7] Interesting to me. The number for today is 9. A very lucky number and the number of cuts in todays set. Crank it up. rockcast 1. Alabama Lovesnakes - Lovebite 2. Genesis - Abacab [Live] 3. Z Z Top - Nasty Dogs & Funky Kings 4. 18. Rockcast Thursday.01.07.10a; Big Head Todd & The Monsters with John Lee Hooker, Mott The Hoople, Brokeb English, Charlie, Billy Idol, George Harrison, Alice Cooper. http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (, 0.00Mb) Description: So the other day I was checking to see what football game was being televised. Here in America we just wrapped up the American college football bowl game season. since Decmber 19th there has been at least one game a day. I noticed the featured game of the day was the GMAC bowl. Sponsored by a company who we as taxpayers had to pay billions of dollars to keep from floundering just a few months ago. Should they be using some of that money to sponsor a football game? That's the question I asked my friend Rick who informed me he had read that in the daily fish wrapper local newspaper. Sure enough an article by an man named Steffi started with the same question I asked except he opened with the big championship game which was being sponsored by one of the banks we bailed out. Actually those scums who have yet to pay us taxpayers back the billions were sponsoring several games. They just took the word bank of the title and called it by the company name. I can understand the need to advertise to drum up clients but they are targeting niave college kids for "personal loans". Above and beyond the student loans most already have. Also the law now protects them from giving you any information about how much money your kid has borrowed. I might add at up to 29% interest. I talked with one person who felt they had an outstanding relationship with their kid. Could talk about anything. They were shocked to find out their little 17 year old daughter had a credit card bill over $20k. [Personally, I would notice if my kid came home with twenty thousand dollars worth of goods.] The point is [and Mr. Steffi's insightful article points it out better than I] that it is flat out wrong what these bankers are doing. Nothing is getting turned around and they are playing us all for suckers. The games bank sponsor television commercial ask "What's in your wallet?" Obvious to me, their hands. rockcast 1. John Lee Hooker with Big Todd and The Monsters - Boom Boom 2. Mott The Hoople - Thunderbuck Ram 3. Broken English - Straight Lace Girls 4. Charlie - I Get Stupid 5. 19. Rockcast Wednesday.01.06.10a; The Four Horsemen, Rod Stewart, Rebecca Riot, Savoy Brown, 100 Monkeys, Tesla, Taste http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 41.41Mb) Description: A terrorist stuffs a bomb in his underwear and with no trouble what so ever makes it all the way to of all places, Detroit Michigan. Where he attemps to blow up the plane he is traveling on. Man don't you know if you were on that flight you would just want to beat the crap out of him. I know I would. Goes to show what I have said all along. We are not really safe. Now the TSA in a show of stronger security have stopped and confiscated what one screener called a viable product that could be used as plastic explosives. The suspect was released to the custody of ...his Mother. You see he's only 3. The substance in question? Playdoh. I would think a 3 year old white kid from St. Louis Mo. is a terrorist in a heartbeat. NOT! Come on! Not one of these scum ever turn out to be a 3 year old white kid from St. Louie. I can understand if say a college student from Yemen who spends his summers at camp in Pakistan shows up with a case and a half of Playdoh and a boarding pass but a 3 year old white kid from, you know. Seriously for a moment. I can perceive somebody using something like Playdoh to create explosives, maybe. Common sense has gone out the window again. Rockcast 1. The Four Horsemen - Can't Stop Rockin' 2. Rod Stewart - Foolish Behaviour 3. Rebecca Riot - Jealousy 4. Savoy Brown - Is That So? 5. 100 Monkeys - Ugly Girl 6. Tesla - What You Got 7. Rockcast Thursday.12.31.09a; Rare Earth, Edgar Winter, Sweet, Eve 6, Everlast & Santana, Boston, George Harrison, 3 Doors Down, Moody Blues, Scorpions. http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 58.19Mb) Description: The first decade of the 21st Century comes to a close. Amazingly the last Ten years have flown by. Seems just yesterday we were all preparing for the worse as geeks around us fabricated the y2k scare. The first time this decade the media had blown things out of wack. It wouldn't be the last time as by the end of the decade they are totally out of control. Blowing every story out of proportion. I see list every where of the top songs of the decade. The best this and that. I guess the only sane fresh thing to do would be to share a few of my personal mixes I have used over the last ten years. I figured it would be easy but it turns out I have done 283 mixes [That I remember] I was really surprised how awful some sound. You think somebody would of said " hey that sucked dude." Also some of the mixes were totally cool. So I grabbed a hand full to fill 50 minutes. Got a favorite mix? Let me know. Turn this up loud, very loud and HAPPY NEW YEAR! Best wishes for'10. rockcast The Big AL Mixes 1. Rare Earth - I Just Want To Celebrate 2. Edgar Winter Group - Free Ride 3. Sweet - Action [Big's Tech Mix] 4. Eve 6 - On The Roof Again 5. Rockcast Friday.12.18.09a; Baby Woodrose, Missing Persons, Milo Z, Aranda, David Gilmour, The Shins, Bad Company, Kelly Hanson http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 43.96Mb) Description: The Friday morning paper always makes me sneeze. It didn't use to and doesn't any other day of the week. Well a little on Sundays but the point is something the newspaper fairies do different to the paper on Fridays is giving me sneezing fits. It was so bad this morning that I had to break down and take a pill. Turned me into a Zombie. My face was numb for an hour. I am always fine until I open and start reading the fish wrapper. Before I can get through one section I am sneezing. What the hell can they be doing? I wonder how many others are having this problem. I am obviously allergic to the stupid crap they call news. ;-) rockcast 1. Baby Woodrose - No Mas 2. Missing Persons - Hello I Love You 3. Milo Z - Dog 4. Aranda - It Ain't Easy 5. 24. Rockcast Wednesday.12.16.09a; Peter Frampton, Steve Marriott, Foreigner, Alvin Stardust, Ballymon Bootboys, Free, Methuselahs Valice, Bill Mumy, Rabbitt http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 42.50Mb) Description: I was pounding out the first few piano notes to Foreigners "Cold As Ice" as my son was sleeping on the couch outside the studio. I was attempting to do a clean mix of the old classic that you can hear in this set. After I had finished I walked out as he was waking up and he looked at me and said "Man I had the strangest dream." He told me about it and added that for some odd reason Cold As Ice was playing in the background. Not the whole song, just the piano part. Oddly enough , I was listening to the playback as I typed this and the ending is all squirrelly. You rock on while I investigate. rockcast in stereo 1. Peter Frampton - Jumpin' Jack Flash, 2. 25. Rockcast Tuesday.12.15.09a; The Hypnophonics, Roxette, Wings, Spanky & Our Gang, The Kinks, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Firecrackers. http://feedproxy.google.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 37.19Mb) Description: Man it is dark outside. Usually at this time of the year the neighborhood is lit up. Outrageous light displays are every where for Christmas. No snow here so to compensate we light it up. Thanks to the biblical proportions of rain we have had in the last week everything is wet. Electricity and water, not good. Foggy all day so nothing dries out. So it is dark. That might explain the odd set you are about to hear. Actually I have it playing as I type and it is a nice little juant. rockcast 1. The Hypophonics - Dead Meat 2. Roxette - Joyride 3. Paul McCartney & Wings - Spin It On 4. Spanky & Our Gang - Brother Can You Spare A Dime 5. The Kinks - Catch Me Now I'm Falling 6. Kitty, Daisy & Lewis - Buggin' Blues 7.
