Publication contains production data for about 240 products or assortment groups classified in accordance with Polish Classification of Products and Services (PKWiU), introduced 1.01.2009 for use in statistics, recording, documentation and accountancy and in government registers and information systems.

Sold production of industry in constant prices (in enterprises employing more than 9 persons) in December 2011 was by 7.7% higher than in the corresponding month of the previous year, but lower by  4.9% than in November 2011. After eliminating the seasonal factors, sold production of industry reached the level higher by 9.5% than in the corresponding month of 2010 and by 0.9% than in November 2011.

According to preliminary data, in the period of January-November of 2011 114040  dwellings were completed, i.e. by 6.2% less than in 2010, and by 20.8% less in comparison with the corresponding period of 2009. In the period of the eleven months of 2011, 153088 dwellings were started, i.e. by 2.0% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The number of dwellings for which building permits were issued also grew - to 168772, i.e. by 4.8%.

Prices of sold production of industry in 2011 with relation to previous year grew by 7.6%. The highest growth of prices was recorded in mining and quarrying (by 16.8%). The increase of prices was recorded in manufacturing (by 7.5%), in section water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (by 5.5%) as well as in section electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (by 3.5%). It is estimated that in December of 2011 the prices of sold production of industry were by 8.1% higher than in the previous year. The highest growth of prices was recorded in manufacturing (by 8.9%), of which the biggest in manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (by 28.7%).  ...

From January to November 2011, the export express in current prices equaled 508,3 mrd (American: billion) PLN, and import 560,2 mrd PLN.

Data refer to enterprises keeping double entry accounts with 50 and more employed persons. Data do not include agriculture, hunting, forestry, fishing, financial intermediation and higher education.
