Episodes

1. PhotoCast o5: Kobe Tower/Lights
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r... download (video/x-m4v, 1.90Mb)

Description: PhotoCast to supplement the last VideoCast.

2. o6: First Snow/Kobe Lights
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r... download (video/x-m4v, 34.90Mb)

Description: It snowed like crazy the day we left for Kobe. We stayed all day in Kobe to see the Christmas lights, and left around 7:00pm. We arrived at Nagoya Station around 5:20am because of the weather conditions. Usually, it only takes about four hours from Nagoya to Kobe, but because some truck drivers decided to sleep the snow out in the middle of the highway, we ended up waiting for six hours more until they decided to wake up and keep driving.

3. o5: Meieki Christmas
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r... download (video/x-m4v, 18.14Mb)

Description: Taken at Nagoya Station. They've already put up the Christmas decorations around the station, along with the trees. The lights with the star signs are pretty cool, but everything else is kind of cheesy. And there's nothing like glowing, green mushrooms to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. Snowmen...check. Deer...check. Santa...check. Psychedelic mushrooms...check.

4. PhotoCast o4: Kyoto Kouyou
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r... download (application/octet-stream, 1.49Mb)

Description: These go along with the third videocast, o3: Kyoto Compilation. The photos were taken at Kinkakuji, Gion, and KiyomizuDeru. You can also find some panoramas at: http://www.arekkusu.com/gallery

5. PhotoCast o3: J-Punks
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r... download (application/octet-stream, 1.41Mb)

Description: Here's the photoshoot to go along the PunkCast. Four of the photos are from the festival, and the others were taken the same day during the walk to Osu.

6. o4: PunkCast
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r... download (audio/mpeg, 42.55Mb)

Description: I recorded this a few months ago under the bridge on the walk from Sakae to Osu, so at that time I didn't have my video camera yet. Sorry. They were having a punk festival (I say festival, but that makes it sound like an organized event, which it wasn't. It was more like a bunch of friends that wanted to play for each other.) from 12:00 to 7:00 with various bands playing three or four songs. Some of the bands were better than others, but they were all different and each had their own characteristics. The three bands that I put on here were the best quality recordings from the batch so I thought I`d put them up for you to hear. http://www.arekkusu.com

7. PhotoCast o2: Photography Portfolio
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r... download (application/octet-stream, 2.17Mb)

Description: Misc. photography from the recent and not-so-recent past. Most of the photos shown here can also be found at: http://www.arekkusu.com/gallery

8. PhotoCast o1: Polaroids of Nagoya
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r... download (application/octet-stream, 0.73Mb)

Description: Random polaroids taken around Nagoya. My goal was to make simple images with aesthetically pleasing shapes.

9. o3: Kyoto Compilation
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r... download (video/x-m4v, 38.84Mb)

Description: I went to Kyoto this weekend to see the fall leaves. It was so beautiful, no camera can do it justice. This is the first time I've been to Kyoto in the fall. The other times were always in the winter when all of the leaves were already off the trees. If you get a chance someday, I highly encourage you to go to KiyomizuDera in the fall.

10. o2: Osu Compilation
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r... download (video/x-m4v, 35.76Mb)

Description: These clips were taken at the same time as the concert footage while I was on my way from Sakae to Osu. Once again, it's a little shaky because of my lack of tripod, but enjoy it for what it is. Music by the Pillows. www.arekkusu.com

11. o1: Central Park Concert
http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r... download (video/x-m4v, 42.79Mb)

Description: I just bought a video camera this week, so I took it for a test run in Sakae in Central Park today. I forgot my tripod at home, so it's a little choppy. Sorry for that. I'll keep working on my camera skills for the time being. www.arekkusu.com
