In this episode, the student becomes the master as we begin our tutorial on GIMP. We edit a couple of photos and Brian helps unravel the mystery of the free substitute to Photoshop. (Check the photo gallery for the pictures used in this episode)
Note: ***We somehow forgot to do a command and program of the week! We apologize but we will definitely not forget for the next episode. It was crazy recording this first episode and much editing was required to make this worthy of you, our audience. So please forgive us and know it won't happen again. ;-) Also note Brian edited this and it was his first time editing a podcast or really using Audacity for that matter. The shownotes are also his doing so bear with it. Lol. Anyway, ttyl. -A.J.

***Download the droopy python script as well as the shell script so you can customize your own droopy page here. To run the shell script, type either (without the quotes) "./filename.sh" or "bash filename.sh". For the shell script in there, it is droopycustom.sh so the command would be bash droopycustom.sh. Try this one first. To edit, either left click and open with a text editor or, directing to the file, type, (if in Gnome) "gedit droopycustom.sh". I hope this helps. Also, open port 8000 of the router you are sending both from and to if you have one or this won't work. Sorry I didn't explain this better in the show. Thanks for listening and talk to you later. -A.J.***
