Be different and make a special effort for the person that's looked after you all these years with unconditional love. Write a funny Mothers Day poem and put it together with the flowers and the card. Just watch your Mom's face light up with a smile and a laugh. The memory will last a lifetime. But you're not a writer, and especially not a funny writer. So, what do you do...take one of ours below and call it your own. Or use one of ours to inspire your own thoughts in creative prose. Remember to hand write the poem onto your Mothers Day card, or take a nice piece of stationary and write it there. Nice penmanship has always been appreciated even if you don't have great handwriting. Just write it slowly. |
