This mix (made by 4T) is a promo mix containing a small selection of the tracks you can find on the latest commercial release 'Robot Dreams' as well as featuring special guest artists 'Yimino' which I personally think are probably verging on Boards of Canada in quality. A small bio of the Yimino: The UK electronica outfit Yimino, originally named Tiny Desk Unit, changed their alias when they released 'The Evolution of Bulbuss & The Polymorphic Nightmare;' an album that caught the attention of none other than musical soothsayer John Peel, who accounted for most of the plays on BBC Radio 1. To support the release, they secured a Sunday residency upstairs at 93 Feet East (in Brick Lane, East London). Their success grabbed the attention of various London promoters, leading to gigs at the Electric Showroom and Ruby Lo to name a few, allowing for the development of their now stunning live audio-visual show. Their latest single, Doe (which includes a stunning plaid remix) will be available on iTunes as of September and Autonovora will appear soon also. Watch out for Yimino on next years festival circuit!
